Since 2014, Blooming Lotus Jewelry has proudly partnered with a family-owned small business in Rishikesh, India, to source our sandalwood beads. During my visit in October 2014, I had the privilege of meeting this wonderful family in their shop, located in the heart of Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga. Our sandalwood is sustainably harvested in Mysore, India, following strict environmental regulations and fair-trade practices. From there, it travels to our trusted supplier in Rishikesh before making its way to us in the U.S., where we hand-assemble each mala with intention and care. For over a decade, we’ve been honored to know our source personally and to directly support their family through this meaningful connection.

We are a small business and most pieces are made to order. We are not Amazon :)

A Mala for a Life change

as I recently entered a new phase in my life, I wanted a Mala to represent my new beginning. I had previously ordered another mala from Jennifer, so I went back for this new one. The overall mala is beautiful, The workmanship - is lovingly represented and top notch. The big Peach Moonstone, is flawless and stunning. I've always wanted a Mala necklace, but because I couldn't decide which one to buy, I've ordered two in one go: New Beginnings and Let it Go.
