Meet the Founder
Following that dream since 2010 . . .
Blooming Lotus Jewelry began with a single spark ... a seed that has grown into a journey of self-discovery, creativity, and connection. Back in 2010, I was a Pediatric Occupational Therapist working with children with special needs, and jewelry design was the furthest thing from my mind. And owning my own business? Not a thought about it! But one request from a friend to make her wedding jewelry, knowing I had dabbled with beads, planted an unexpected seed in my life. That seed bloomed, giving rise to something deeply meaningful and wholly unexpected.
In 2013, I left my OT career to fully embrace this path, dedicating myself to spreading joy and empowerment through my jewelry. Creating jewelry became more than a pastime; it became my way of connecting ... to myself, to others, and to nature. Inspired by my love of yoga and nature, I started handcrafting pieces that held intention and purpose using meaningful gemstones, hand-stamped mantras, and hand-knotted malas. Blooming Lotus Jewelry became a reflection of life’s delicate balance between strength and beauty, peace and resilience.
Over the years, my passion for crafting jewelry has evolved. My passion now lies in carving my pieces in wax before casting them into eco-friendly recycled sterling silver and solid gold, a technique called the Lost Wax Method. This sustainable approach is at the heart of my business, reflecting my dedication to both artistry and responsibility to the earth. Each piece I create embodies a balance of strength and beauty, peace and resilience, shaped with intention and purpose.
In 2023, I welcomed my sweet little girl into the world, and since then, I’ve embraced the profound journey of motherhood, finding new inspiration in this beautiful chapter of life.
